Ecletic mix of exhibits. Including:
Year 7 students worked with artists Jeremy Wood and Agnes Poitevin-Navarre to produce Personal Cartographies, part of Iniva's Mapping Beyond exhibition series at Rivington Place.
The students explored their personal geographies and history through a series of discussions and exercises with the artists.
They mapped their everyday activities, located family connections to national boundaries, thought about their tastes, hobbies, passions, their family roots and how the ethnicity of their friends is perceived.
And
13 Jun – 27 Jul 2008The first solo exhibition in the UK by Colombian artist Oscar Muñoz – a powerful body of work selected from the last ten years that evokes memory and loss to compelling and seductive effect.

Street and Studio: An Urban History of Photography

I attend the above show on Saturday. Very impressive range of work but perhaps too large and varied to form one exhibit.
My favourite part was looking at the very old 19th century photographs and seeing faces that you would see on the streets today. It brought the exhibit to life for me.

Connections
I am in the process of emailing all lecturers so that we can have brief face to face meetingd and perhaps discuss some of your library needs for the coming semester. I am more than happy to come over to your office but free feel to say hallo, next time you are in the library. It really helps to put some faces to the staff list!
